New Nominee for Animal Innovator of the Year
We here at Txchnologist are pretty proud of people who make tools that change and save lives. It turns out, though, that our species isn’t the only one filled with innovators at work on planet Earth.
There are now numerous documented examples of species from ants to octopuses to crows that use objects to get a job done. Add to that list one more: the Goffin’s cockatoo.
Biologists at the universities of Vienna and Oxford have reported that one particular bird they have been following fashions tools to retrieve toys and food.

ambigrams are words/phrases that can be read from more than one direction. the image above is a rotational ambigram, which can be read when rotated 180°.
